Before Your House-Call Grooming Visit

I want your cat to feel safe, calm, and comfortable during grooming — and that works best when we create the purrfect little “spa corner” in your home. Please review the simple setup guidelines below before your appointment.

How to prepare your home for a smooth, stress-free experience

The ideal grooming area is:

Quiet – away from loud noises, dogs, kids, or heavy foot traffic
🔌 Well-lit – natural light or good overhead lighting is perfect
🔌 Has an electrical outlet nearby (for dryer and equipment)
🛁 Includes a counter/table with sink or tub space nearby

Great spaces include:
✔ Laundry room (if it has a sink & counter)
✔ Kitchen (counter or table space works great!)
✔ Bathroom (quiet, contained, easy cleanup)
✔ Spare room next to a bathroom with a table and outlet

Choose a Calm, Comfortable Grooming Space

Please Ensure:
🚫 No loose dogs or other animals in the grooming space
🚫 No loud TV, music, or high-traffic activity nearby
🚫 Avoid outdoor areas — I groom indoors only

Important:
I am not a mobile van or trailer.
I am a House-Call Groomer, which means I groom inside your home using a clean, calm space you provide.

Important Notes

You only need to provide:

✔ Clean sink or tub (if your service includes bathing)
✔ A clean towel
✔ Access to a plug/electrical outlet
✔ Good lighting (overhead, window, or lamp)
That’s it! I bring all tools, equipment, table, dryer, grooming supplies, and cat-loving energy. 🐈✨

What to Have Ready

Recording Policy (Transparency & Safety)

To support safety, training, and sometimes social media education,
I do record my grooming sessions (video & audio).

📸 I do my best to record only the cat, not you or your private home
You are welcome to watch, assist, or step away — whatever makes your cat most comfortable.

By booking, you understand and accept that grooming sessions may be recorded for safety, documentation, and educational purposes.

Yes — I don’t mind at all!
Whatever helps your cat feel more secure, and helps us build trust.

After we establish a routine, many cats do better with less activity,
and some owners prefer to step out or stay nearby.
Whatever works best for your kitty.

Can You Stay During Grooming?

Before Your Appointment, Please Let Me Know

☑️ Any behavior concerns (mats, aggression, anxiety, biting, hissing)
☑️ Existing medical issues (arthritis, kidney disease, heart issues, wounds, etc.)
☑️ Any medications your cat is on

This helps me plan a safe and gentle grooming session.

My goal is simple:
Less stress. More comfort. Slow, gentle, cat-centered grooming — in their favorite place: home.

✔ No cages.
✔ No car rides.
✔ No loud noises
✔ Just calm, cozy, feline care.
